A woman in the shower…

After a long period of slow personal evolution I’m finally scheduled to meet with a Jungian/Archetypal psychologist. Last week she asked me to write a few of my recent dreams on paper and send them to her in the mail. Dream work is typically not just one dream but a series of dreams sometimes over several days, weeks or even months. It’s like writing a novel where gradually our story or patterns emerge. I collected my notes and wrote them out and I then decided by no apparent reason to drop them off at her house in person instead of using the postal service. I rang her doorbell and she came to the door in her bathrobe. She said she was just about to get into the shower.

We did not discuss the dreams. Rather it was just a cordial handoff, human to human, heart to heart, of an envelope sealed with my dreams. Just to let you know the first dream written in the series and sealed in the envelop occured a few months ago and is called “A woman in the shower.” Synchronicity, alignment with cosmos and psyche, Anima Mundi (the living soul of the world), Mundis Imaginalis (the world of active imagination). All of these instantly came into conscious realization at that moment.

And so I continue to ponder the wonder of it all. Especially these new glimpses into the center of our cosmos. Our home the Milky Way Galaxy. Interconnected, billions of years old, alive. I see a heart at the center of our galaxy and an eye, a cosmic eye. The cosmos is watching me and I am watching the cosmos. We are now in daily communication, like lovers. I am just starting to drop my modern scientific human arrogance and disillusioned perceptions. To listen quietly, to surrender, to participate. “Threads of energy and other features both new and unknown.”
