Aphrodite - Soul in all things

“If beauty is not given full place, in our work with Psyche then the soul’s essential realization cannot occur. And a psychology that does not start in aesthetics cannot claim to be truly psychology since it omits this essential trait of the soul’s nature… we must recover our lost aesthetic reactions, our sense of beauty… As Psyche’s tale starts in beauty and as Aphrodite is the “psyche tou kosmou” or “soul in all things.”
