How to hold the light in the dark…

I have been chewing on yijing hexagram 44 the tidal hexagram for the Summer Solstice.  “Below the sky a wind” suggesting the return of darkness, of the unknowns and other invisible changes going on beneath the surface, beneath the exterior appearance of things.  This leads me to hexagram 24 the tidal hexagram for the Winter Solstice.  “Thunder within the Earth, the image of Returning.”  The returning Sun of the Winter Solstice.  Hex 44 and 24 are mirror images.  What was Yang becomes Yin.  What is Yin becomes Yang.  Each reflecting on the other showing us the polarity of life; the dynamism of life, the light and dark of life.   This is how I hold the light in the dark.  By understanding they are but mirror images of themselves.
